Resident Manager, The Beeches
Responsible to: Head of Supported Housing through the Retirement Living Manager
Responsible for: No line management responsibility
Salary: £16,669pa less accommodation rent
Deadline: 12 noon, 15 July 2009Are you customer focused? Are you looking for a job with accommodation? You’ll visit our residents on a daily basis, keeping them informed about matters that affect them, organising social activities and liaising with relevant support agencies. You’ll see service charges are maximised in various ways, such as showing prospective buyers and potential customers around vacant properties, carrying out assessments as required and advising residents on benefits and the best ways to avoid service charge arrears. Having worked with the public, you’ll have no problems communicating with people from all backgrounds, especially the elderly. If you can stay calm no matter what the situation, think on your own feet and make your own decisions – then we’d love to hear from you. The requirement of the Resident Manager post is that you occupy accommodation on-site. The post is based at The Beeches, Gascoigne Drive, Spondon, Derby. The property is a 1 bed bungalow, with a room used as a dedicated office. A CRB disclosure is required.
