“I joined Derwent Living as Chief Executive in March 2008. My role is to work closely with the Board and Executive team to provide overall strategic direction for the Group and to oversee the performance of the organisation in all its facets. I recognise the unique blend Derwent Living offers: a true social business with its social and community functions supported by a thriving commercial sector. My aim is to drive improvements in the business, so all our customers have a good experience and that Derwent Living makes a positive impact on people’s lives. “

Ian Smith – Resources Director

“For the past 19 years I have had responsibility for the accounting and treasury functions of Derwent Living and my remit has now expanded to include other corporate resources such as IT. I will ensure that my teams listen to feedback, both from colleagues and customers and ensure they provide robust support in line with business needs.”

 

Paul Casey – Development Director

“I have worked with Derwent Living since the mid 1990′s assisting the organisation to diversify its housing portfolio. I would like to build upon these strong foundations and enable Derwent Living to embrace the housing challenge facing society. We will do this via affordable, innovative and ecologically sensitive sustainable developments, supported by a customer focussed maintenance and asset management service to all our homes.”

 

Steve McDonough – Housing Director

“Over the past four years my responsibilities have been for Derwent Living’s commercial activities. In my new role of Housing Director I will be responsible for housing services and supported housing, enabling me to have a greater understanding of Derwent Living’s core business – a challenge I am looking forward to. In addition I will look to bring the best practice from our commercial activities into the affordable side of the business, helping to improve the service we give to our customers. A key part of my role will be involving all the teams in decisions which affect them.”
