We are committed to customer involvement and consultation in order to improve the quality of life for all our residents and the community as a whole. We recognise how important it is to involve and consult customers, through continued encouragement and support. We want to give everyone who uses our services the opportunity to tell us their views, hopes and expectations so that we can reflect people’s needs in our customer focused business.Who are we?
There are currently six of us in the team.
Mitchell Allseybrook – Community Development Manager
Mitch develops community projects with our residents that help to improve their quality of life. He supports groups/individuals to apply for external funding. He also arranges a variety of activities for the children and young people living on our schemes.
Michael Futers – Resident Involvement Officer
Michael supports our formal and informal resident groups, encouraging their continual development. He facilitates the Derwent Home Ownership Forum and attends many of the road shows that we run. He is also a key member of the group that edit the Derwent Life newsletter.
Sue Williams - Resident Involvement Officer
Sue is our second Resident Involvement Officer supporting formal and informal resident groups. Sue attends Community Voice meetings and has specific responsibility for the Community Panel. She also supports the road show programme. Sue is currently working on a development programme for individuals and groups involved in customer participation.
Jane Dredge – Family Welcome Officer
Jane is a new member of the team, undertaking an 18 month project to support new families living on our schemes. She is responsible for welcoming new families and identifying their needs. She supports them to access services that meet their needs and helps them to settle on to their schemes.
Pat Chambers – Community Development Team Assistant
Pat provides administrative support to the team. She is particularly responsible for keeping accurate financial information, and preparing reports from the surveys that we send out.
