housing officers

Once you are in a Derwent Living property we don't just forget about you. Each scheme boasts a tenancy services housing officer. The team is currently made up of five housing officers, each one working on a patch of properties with a mixture of tenancy types - including easy living, lease hold and affordable rent.

The job of a housing officer is to manage the schemes and tenancies. They deal with anti-social behaviour of all sorts, complaints of racial and other severe harassment and breaches of tenancy - for example overgrown gardens and car repairs.

Housing officers are also responsible for carrying out scheme inspections every three months, and they record and follow up any actions. Residents are more than welcome to attend a scheme inspection – dates and times will be published in Derwent Life, our residents newsletter.
