Arrival

When

Keys will not be given out before 10am on Saturday 18^th September or Sunday 19^th September and you should ensure that you arrive before 4pm.

You must have completed your arrival time and printed off your Key Release form.

If you expect to arrive at any other time then you should contact reception as early as possible to make arrangements as this may not always be possible.

See our map to find details of our location which includes the option to get directions from your postcode. There is only one route to the Trigon as we sit on the one-way system.

Parking

Parking on the initial weekend will be difficult due to the city centre position that The Trigon holds. Please do bear in mind that the streets around The Trigon are patrolled.

Students arriving for residence

After the roundabout on which stands St Mary’s Church, continue on St. Mary’s Road and take next left and immediate right onto Mary Street (Ticket Parking is available on Mary Street for up to 10 hours). On the left at the bottom of Mary Street is Geoff Hall’s Carpets, limited parking is available in this car park at a charge of £3 a day.

If both the above areas are full please turn left onto Shoreham Street and proceed through the traffic lights, the NCP car park is immediately on your left.

Collection of Keys

You must have your passport or driving licence for proof of I.D. to collect your keys.

Your friend can collect keys but you must have informed reception in advance by either letter or email and your friend will need to have a letter from yourself and their identification in order to collect them on your behalf.

What should I bring?

You will need to bring your own bed linen, including duvet and pillow, also basics such as saucepans, cooking dishes, plates, bowls, cutlery and crockery

Payment of Rent and Deposit

You will already have paid £250 by cheque for your deposit

• Your will have filled out a direct debit mandate and returned it with your application OR
• You will have filled out your card payment form for the full year (A discount of £175 will be given to those who pay the full amount of rent in advance.)

Should any further paperwork be required you will have been informed and must bring it with you on the day you wish to move in

Staff will be on duty over the arrival weekend to direct you to your new home. However with approximately 45,000 students arriving in Sheffield and 382 arriving at The Cube and The Trigon over the weekend, the site will be extremely busy and parking areas can become congested. Please follow the instructions of the staff on site at all times and we will endeavour to issue your keys and help you on site as quickly as possible. Please be patient.
