All go for the Green Inspectors
Created on Monday, September 18th, 2017
Volunteers from our team of customer Green Inspectors recently carried out site visits to inspect the grounds maintenance services carried out by our new contractor, PfP Landscapes.
Green Inspectors are customers volunteers who monitor the standard of grounds maintenance carried out at the scheme where they live. They carry out their inspections according to a set template and give the various elements of the grounds maintenance service a score, ranging from ‘Poor’ to ‘Excellent’.
Each year we ask the Green Inspectors to join us on site visits to look at schemes other than those where they live. They carry out inspections of these sites, again using their normal criteria and keen critical eye.
On their most recent visits, the Green Inspectors visited the following schemes:
- Burnside Avenue, Shirland
- Lambourn Court, Allestree
- Cloudwood Close, Littleover
- Cannock Court, Derby
- Peckerdale Gardens, Spondon
All of the inspectors agreed that the grounds maintenance service carried out at these schemes was of a very high standard. They described the schemes as ‘well kept’ and ‘well maintained’. In particular they were impressed with the appearance of Cloudwood Close, considering this has large areas in need of grounds maintenance.
The Green Inspectors team is open to all residents and we welcome any new additions to the team of volunteers. If you know of a resident who may be interested in volunteering as a Green Inspector, please pass on their details to the customer engagement team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
