Net gains

In July Derwent Living launched its brand new website.

Developed to assist customers find information as quickly as possible, it replaces the main site as well as MY Derwent Living and MY Community.

The whole development process has been done with input from customers and colleagues of different ages and levels of technical skill to ensure it works for everyone. As a result the site includes new features and innovations.

Here’s our pick of the best:

Advice Centre

The advice centre, available from the top menu of the site is designed to answer customer enquiries, whatever the topic.

There’s also special sections for our different customer types.

This content has been written by our customer service and housing management teams to give you relevant information on the type of tenancy you have or services you receive, without having to call the office.

The page also lists all pages in the advice centre alphabetically, so you can easily scan and find the content that relates to your enquiry.

Enquiry centre

The enquiry centre sits on the right (or top right on a mobile or tablet) of every page on the new website. It is designed to allow you to make a payment, report a repair, report a problem (such as anti-social behaviour or fly tipping), enquire about housing (transfers/mutual exchanges) and also report general enquiries.

It has links to our social media channels too, if that’s how you wish to contact us.

Dealing direct

The new website now works directly with our housing system, so enquiries raised through the various forms on our website are automatically entered and sent to the customer service team and direct to teams responsible for delivering the service.

You will now receive a reference number when you log an enquiry too, which will allow our teams to locate an enquiry faster if you need to contact us.

MY Derwent Living?

If you were previously a MY Derwent Living user, you can sign in to the new site using your existing user name and password.

You’ll also be able to have your say on the community pages.

Still haven’t found what you’re looking for?

If you are struggling to find what you need, our search tool should allow you to find what you’re looking for. It can be found from the top menu, or by going to the search page.
