Throughout 2018, Derwent Living’s resident scrutiny team has been examining our services to ensure they are shaped around the needs of our customers.
The team finished their review of our performance against the Regulator of Social Housing’s Home Standard in March.
As reported in the summer 2018 edition of Derwent Life, the review found Derwent Living “more than meets the requirements” of the standard.
Our approach to health and safety was under the microscope in June as reported in the Safety First column, Derwent Life autumn 2018. The team found Safety First positive and recommended it continue as a feature.
With the end of summer came the review of the Grounds Maintenance service, delivered by Pfp Landscapes. September saw the team ‘dig’ into the service and the recommendations were published in Derwent Life autumn 2018.
In December, the team were asked to support Derwent Living’s ‘Make a stand’ campaign by reviewing the domestic abuse information on our website.
Overall they felt Derwent Living were to be congratulated for taking domestic abuse seriously and found the website information fairly comprehensive and easy to find.
Another very busy and successful year for the Resident Scrutiny team!
