Take part in our financial inclusion survey

We’re inviting all customers to take part in the Places for People Group financial inclusion survey. Financial inclusion is all about ensuring customers are aware and can access advice and services to help live sustainably in their home. The survey is designed to measure how we currently provide financial inclusion activity across the various businesses in the group and what we could do better in the future.

Dolly Smith fund

Derwent Living has launched a new fund for the benefit of our retirement living customers. The Dolly Smith Fund has been set up in memory of one of our oldest residents. Dolly Smith was a well-liked and active member of her community and passed away aged 107.

We wanted to honour the life of Dolly, and so the Dolly Smith Fund has been established. The purpose of the Dolly Smith Fund is to provide funding to retirement living customers to support community activities or initiatives, with the aim of tackling isolation within their scheme and promoting community interaction.

Applications are welcomed from residents living at Derwent Living retirement living schemes. Applications will be capped at a maximum of £500 per application, and a minimum of £50. Grants will be awarded by a panel consisting of a member of our Customer Engagement team, Retirement Living team leader and an involved customer.
