It’s nice to be appreciated and each year Derwent Living likes to recognise residents who go out of their way to help or be a representative for others.

Last year's winner was Betty Bode from Chellaston

Is there a neighbour or fellow customer of Derwent Living that you know is an unsung hero? Have they gone that extra mile and you think they deserve a pat on the back? Well here’s your chance.

It is now time to make nominations for the 2016 David Proud Award for Resident Involvement.  The Award is given to an individual or group, for an outstanding contribution their local community. This could be anything, from going above and beyond in assisting a neighbour or to getting involved at Derwent Living, either over a long period or for a particular contribution during the last twelve months.

Any Derwent Living customer or colleague can make a nomination, so get those thinking caps on!

The winner will receive a certificate, £50 worth of Bonus Bonds and will be presented with the David Proud award, which they will hold for twelve months.  So who do you think has made a real difference?

Nomination forms are available by contacting the resident involvement team on 01332 346477 or via email at The closing date for nominations is Friday 9th December 2016.
