This new involvement opportunity replaces some forums, as announced in the latest edition of Derwent Life.
Events will take place every other month with each one covering two topics for discussion. Derwent Living staff will outline a new development or news item relating to their service area and invite participants to give feedback and influence decisions.
The first session will cover:
- Modernisation – Kitchens, bathrooms & windows
- Welfare Reforms and how customers will be affected
The first event takes place on Thursday 27 September at 10.00am until 1.00pm at the Derby Conference Centre, London Road, Derby. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and lunch will also be provided. Transport is being arranged for those who need it.
Customers wanting to take part should book a place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org including details of name, address and transport needs. The deadline for booking a place is Monday 24 September.
Everyone attending will be entered into a prize draw for £50 of high street vouchers. Those coming along are invited to bring a friend or family member too by giving their details when booking a place.
