Barnby Gate, a development comprising 74 properties, was awarded the National House Builders Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job award for Best Scheme.
Pride in the Job is the house-building industry's most prestigious awards programme. Running for 35 years, Pride in the Job is dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building.
All site managers running a site with a home or homes that are registered for NHBC Buildmark cover, are automatically entered into the competition.
NHBC inspectors tour the sites during construction and once the build is complete. Some of the criteria for winning are; cleanliness, best practice, how the site is managed/run and the finished homes.
The project manager for the site, Andrew Kirkland, said; "It's a great accolade and is a marker for the hard work and dedication that Derwent Living's development team give to every single project we undertake.
"We'll continue to strive for the highest standards on our developments, in order to give people decent homes to live in: homes that they can be proud of."
