We have a vacancy for Customer Service Advisor  – fixed term until end March 2013 at c.£20,000 per annum pro rata

20 hours per week

The working hours are Monday 12.00pm –  5.30pm; Thursday 9:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 9:30am – 5:00pm

We’re looking for an exceptionally enthusiastic and friendly individual to work as part of a team delivering a first class customer service.

This role will ideally suit someone who has experience of working with the public and enjoys talking to people from all walks of life.  As the first point of contact, you’ll be the ‘face’ of Derwent Living, ensuring customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner. 

Handling telephone, email and internal enquiries, you’ll have the communication skills to deliver a high standard of service throughout.

Primarily telephone based, you will be responsible for dealing with customer queries, logging repair requests, giving housing advice, providing sales information, responding to complaints and undertaking general administrative duties. This is a varied and stimulating post – you’ll find that no two days are the same!

A good standard of education and excellent communication skills, combined with a desire to work in a busy office are essential.  IT literacy and a self-motivating approach are also important.  This post would ideally suit someone from a call centre or customer contact centre background.
